Litigation - Contract Attorney (Remote)

Roll Law Group PC, the "captive” law firm for The Wonderful Company, a privately held $5 billion company with over 10,000 employees and including such well-known brands as Wonderful Pistachios, Wonderful Halos, POM Wonderful, FIJI Water, JUSTIN and Landmark Wines, and Teleflora, seeks a litigation contract attorney with at least six (6) years of experience.

We are looking for a Litigation Attorney on a Contract basis, you will support a team of litigators handling the day-to-day litigation and legal counseling for all of the company’s farming, food, beverage and other businesses.

This is a remote role, working West Coast (PDT) hours. We are looking for candidates that are a member in good standing of the California State Bar Association.

• Conduct legal research and analysis regarding a broad range of legal matters, including those involving tort or contract issues, intellectual property issues, U.S. food and beverage regulatory matters, commercial disputes, and labor and employment matters, among others.
• Prepare correspondence and legal documents such as pleadings, briefs, affidavits, motions, and all types of discovery.

• Excellent analytical, organizational, verbal and written skills required.
• Member in good standing of California State Bar.
• Participate independently in a fast-paced environment with short deadlines, requiring responsiveness and availability during work hours.
• Strong knowledge of California procedural and substantive law.
• Minimum of six (6) of experience practicing litigation in a top-tier U.S. law firm preferred.
• JD from an accredited law school.
• COVID vaccination will be required for this position unless candidate has a legally valid exemption.

Pay Range: $125.00 - $140.00 an hour. Final compensation will be dependent upon skills & experience.

• Two writing samples required.
• Competitive rate offered.
