Job Description
Clark Hill is seeking an associate with 4+ years of experience for its Litigation Business Unit in Los Angeles, CA. The ideal candidate will have experience in civil litigation and automobile warranty defense. This candidate will work exclusively on a team defending automobile manufacturers, distributors, and dealers in warranty actions. Candidates must have the following: Song-Beverly Consumer Warranty Act experience; trial/arbitration preparation and courtroom experience, including motion practice, deposition, and mediation; strong advocacy, research, writing, and negotiation skills; and strong academic credentials. This is a partnership-track position with an opportunity to take a leadership role on a new team and help design innovative legal strategies. Successful candidates must be detail-oriented, organized, and should possess a solid work ethic. All candidates must be currently licensed to practice law in the state of California. We will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records in a manner consistent with applicable laws
The salary range for this position at the time of posting is $140,000 - $200,000 annually, based upon a full-time work schedule. Actual compensation will be influenced by various factors, including but not limited to employee qualifications, relevant experience, skill sets, training, internal equity, and market data. This position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition, Clark Hill offers employees the ability to participate in health insurance with optional HSA/FSA, short term disability, long term disability, dental insurance, vision care, life insurance, 401K, vacation, sick time, parking/public transportation allowance, and an employee assistance program.
