The Supervision and Regulation Department has an immediate opening for a Large Institute Supervision Coordinating Committee (LISCC) Liquidity Program Examiner position, reporting to the LISCC Liquidity Program (LP) Horizontal Team Lead.
The LISCC Liquidity Program (LP) focuses on evaluating the liquidity risk management practices and liquidity positions of supervised firms. The Liquidity Risk Examiner is responsible for developing and executing the assigned elements of the program’s supervisory plan, communicating supervisory messages, and developing liquidity ratings of the supervised institutions. This entails leading and/or contributing to firm-specific and horizontal supervisory reviews regarding liquidity risk management and internal liquidity stress testing practices.
What You Will Do:
  • Present examination results to supervised institutions, Federal Reserve management, staff, and other supervisory authorities.
  • Lead or participate in firm specific and horizontal examinations, developing well supported supervisory assessments.
  • Performing work under limited supervision with extensive autonomy and discretion; planning and arranging short- and long-term work.
  • Develop a detailed understanding of the LISCC firms’ relevant liquidity risk management practices, including stress testing.
  • Demonstrate an ability to rotate across assignments and topics and develop a comprehensive understanding of areas assigned.
  • Write conclusion memos and other written work products supporting the examiner assessment.
  • Support the Liquidity Program by executing cross-firm reviews of the LISCC firms’ liquidity risk management practices, including internal liquidity stress testing practices. The team member is expected to contribute to reviews of a variety of liquidity risk management topics over time.
Qualifications:
  • 3-9+ years’ experience in one or more of the following areas: corporate treasury, liquidity, or relevant fields
  • Demonstrated experience and understanding of financial markets and banking system, bank and broker dealer funding products, and liquidity risk management.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work experience
  • Commissioned examiner and/or Examiner-in-Charge experience highly preferred
Other Requirements and Considerations:
  • Employees who work at and/or visit another Federal Reserve entity or outside business as part of their job duties are required to comply with any onsite safety and health protocols of those organizations (including, but not limited to, requirements to vaccinate or test, mask, social distance, etc.).

  • Salary offered will be based on the job responsibilities and the individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience as defined in the job qualifications.
  • The hiring range of the Examiner – LFI – Adv. is $131,200 – $166,500 (9+ years of experience)
  • In addition, all candidates must undergo an enhanced background check and comply with all applicable information handling rules, and all non-U.S. citizens must sign a declaration of intent to become a U.S. citizen and pursue a path to citizenship.
