Linux System Administrator Jobs

We have an immediate need for a Linux System Administrator to provide support to IT systems including the day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for all of the client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc.

What will you be doing:

• Optimize system operations and resource utilization, and perform system capacity analysis and planning.
• Configure and manage LINUX/UNIX and Windows (or other applicable) operating systems and installs/loads operating system software, troubleshoot, maintain integrity of and configure network components, along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance.
• Bridging video between Skype for Business (SFB) users and Cisco VTC endpoints; need to add the routing within the SBC to use the CMS as a transcoder or just send all videos to CMS as a Trusted Application Server: voicemail, upgrading the Polycom phones, and configure either SFB or SBC to restrict certain numbers.
• Analyze and resolve complex problems associated with server hardware, applications and software integration.

What will you need:

• CompTIA Security+ CE
• Experience with: VMWare; NetApp; Linux/Windows OS
• Networking skills
• Fifteen (15) years of experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a technical degree. Five (5) years of additional system administration experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree

Clearance: Must have an active TS/SCI with an appropriate Polygraph
