MassMutual Greater Philadelphia is hiring for an Agency Licensing Coordinator to join our growingteam!


The Agency Licensing Coordinator is responsible for managing the activities that will support the licensing,

contracting, appointment and onboarding of existing producers and candidates to our firm. A successful

Agency Licensing Coordinator will consult with firm leadership, recruiters, and home office business partners

to drive successful in good order contracting resulting in meeting / exceeding firm new agent goals.

Qualifications for theAgency Licensing Coordinator:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Results-driven, confident, and a demonstrated ability to negotiate and influence
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Life / FINRA licenses are a plus
  • History in the financial services field or with MassMutual a plus
  • Ability to create and leverage metrics for reporting
  • Microsoft Office knowledge
  • The ideal candidate will have 2–5 years of administrative experience
  • Strong working knowledge of insurance licensing requirements and FINRA licensing requirements
  • Proficient and adaptable with technology

Responsibilitiesfor theAgency Licensing Coordinator:

  • Consult with firm leadership to develop, leverage, and promote firm goals for contracting and onboarding new agents
  • Work with producers and candidates to obtain proper licensing in accordance with state guidelines
  • Create action plans to identify and address gaps in meeting established firm goals
  • Meet weekly with recruiters and sales managers to review candidate pipeline
  • Maintain candidate relationships throughout the contracting and onboarding process
  • Work with firm leadership and finance department to ensure IGO financing for inexperienced and experienced agents
  • Work with producers to obtain FINRA registration and FINRA licenses including completion of U4, fingerprinting and proper forms for MMLIS registration
  • Ability to communicate professionally, confidently, and discreetly with confidential information
  • Assist Producers and Candidates being recruited by the firm to complete their online contract applications
  • Utilize reports to identify gaps and opportunities for driving new hire growth and IGO contracting
  • Maintain candidate database and runs reports to analyze recruiting and onboarding metrics
  • Assist candidate with completing and submitting the online contract application
  • Meet weekly with firm leadership to review progress, gaps and opportunities
  • Other duties and projects as assigned
  • Order and review background checks to ensure in good order contracting criteria before submitting for endorsement to General Agent and Home Office
