Legal Researcher Jobs

Our client, a legal data and analytics company, is looking for a legal researcher to join their team remotely!

The client's legal business segment is launching their AI Development project for the creation of AI generated summaries of US court opinions and other legal content types - in this role, you will be responsible for testing these AI generated outputs.

*This is a 3-month contract with the opportunity for extension or conversion, 30-40 hours per week*

Responsibilities

• Evaluate outputs for specific legal content against a set of required elements and for accuracy of both the summary content and any statutory rules or case citations contained within the output
• Analyzing outputs from the model for model training
• Using an online tool, creating inputs/prompts for the AI model
• Provide assessment rating feedback and to provide additional feedback commentary as necessary

Requirements

• Working knowledge of Excel spreadsheets
• High degree of familiarity with US legal content / documents
• Strong legal research and legal analysis skills
• Able to work 30-40 hours per week (remote)
• Experience in providing high quality feedback rating analysis as well as additional comments on products being tested is preferred
• Law degree required
