Job Summary
As a Corporate Legal Assistant, you will play a key role in AmeriLife’s legal department with responsibility for providing exceptional service for corporate affiliates. You will work closely with multiple business areas and team members building genuine relationships while supporting internal enterprise needs.
Duties/Responsibilities

  • Take proactive actions to follow up on projects to ensure completion in accordance with directions and instructions from in-house attorneys.
  • Work closely with in-house attorneys and executives on various administrative matters.
  • Prepare and maintain corporate minute books, licenses, registration, and electronic corporate documents.
Qualifications
Minimum Job Requirements
  • Demonstrates the organization’s core values, exuding behavior that is aligned with AmeriLife’s culture.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Quick Learner.
  • Previous work experience as a Paralegal or in a Legal Assistant role supporting a corporate legal team.
  • Project management skills, including the ability to prioritize, balance, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Maintain confidentiality and exercise a high standard of judgment and discretion.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent working experience.
