They are looking for innovative pioneers of the industry as they are scheduled to tape-out revolutionary “first-to-market” technology. The company is experiencing significant growth as they plan to increase its executive leadership team through strategic expansion.

Role:

• Communicate with the Director to define market requirements, product requirements, and set priorities
• Define high-level user experience, design domain-specific language, software architecture + algo/compiler optimizations, and instruction set.
• Define and write benchmark suites based on market requirements.
• Work with hardware-software codesign team, systems team, and compiler team to define and create hardware primitives, microarchitecture, software stack, and systems architecture

Requirements:

• Deep intuitive grasp of algorithms for high-performance cryptographic execution
• Ability to rapidly assimilate new developments in cryptography
• Practitioner experience, writing algorithms from scratch for production cryptography libraries (ideally with GPU or FPGA as deployment targets)
• Deep intuitive grasp of number theory, ring theory, field theory, and elliptic curve math
• Technical understanding of modern cryptography, including zero-knowledge proof schemes of all sorts (ZK-SNARKs, ZK-STARKs)

Bonus:

• Degree in math/applied math or physics
• Senior academic or industry experience in the field of blockchain research
