Job Description

Job Title: Lead Budtender/Retail Personal Service Provider

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and responsible individual to take on the role of Lead Budtender/Retail Personal Service Provider at our cannabis dispensary. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the dispensary by providing exceptional customer service, leading a team of budtenders, and ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and policies.

Responsibilities:
1. Provide Outstanding Customer Service:
  • Process transactions accurately using the POS system.
  • Answer customer queries and provide recommendations based on individual needs and preferences.
  • Educate customers on different cannabis strains, products, and consumption methods.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment.
  • Handle and resolve any customer complaints or issues in a professional manner.
  • Greet and assist customers in a friendly and knowledgeable manner.
2. Lead and Supervise Budtending Team:
  • Provide guidance and support to the budtending team, ensuring they adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Schedule and coordinate staff shifts to ensure adequate coverage.
  • Monitor and evaluate staff performance, providing feedback and coaching as needed.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to address concerns, communicate updates, and promote teamwork.
  • Train new budtenders on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service.
3. Inventory Management:
  • Oversee inventory tracking and restocking processes.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accurate record-keeping and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor product availability and inform management of any shortages or discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with purchasing and suppliers to maintain optimal stock levels.
4. Compliance and Safety:
  • Maintain a strong understanding of local and state cannabis laws and regulations.
  • Implement and maintain safety protocols, cleanliness, and organization standards within the store.
  • Act as a point of contact during inspections or visits by regulatory agencies.
  • Ensure adherence to all legal requirements, including age verification and product labeling guidelines.
Requirements:
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • High school diploma or equivalent education.
  • Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
  • Previous experience in the cannabis industry or retail management preferred.
  • Proficient in basic computer skills.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
  • Strong knowledge of cannabis strains, products, and consumption methods.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Ability to handle cash and maintain accurate transaction records.
