Job Description

Mungo Homes is adding a Land Development Coordinator to our team in the Wilmington, NC market!


This position is responsible for providing administrative support related to the acquisition, sale, and development of land as it relates to residential subdivisions


Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (performs other duties as assigned)

  • Prepare budgets, monitor all project costs and process invoice approvals.
  • Update and maintain land database and acquisition files.
  • Coordinate with other departments in closeout of land development construction approvals.
  • Assist with Land Development Storm Water file maintenance. Prepare jobsite packages. Maintain inspection reports. Update tracking spreadsheet for filing Notice of Termination’s (NOT’s).
  • Prepare applications and check requests for utilities as it relates to landscaping of common areas.
  • Prepare and maintain checklists for various projects to keep processes on track.
  • Provide information for, and participate in the preparation of financial and feasibility analysis.
  • Prepare and submit community bond documents, request letters of credit, and maintain timelines in accordance with bond expiration dates.
  • Record and distribute plats.
  • Coordinate necessary due diligence information gathering.
  • Monitor and track contracts and other documents pertaining to purchase and/or sale of property, development construction and project close out to determine critical deadlines and manage timelines.
  • Monitor and maintain construction schedules and community development schedules, and update associated reports.
  • Review proposals for engineering, surveying, consultants, etc. for scope (SOW) and cost parameters to create bid comparisons and identify inconsistencies and omissions.

Education and/or Experience: Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.


Computer Skills:

  • Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Project)
