Lake Hopatcong, Nj Famiily Seeking Temp Full-Time Live-Out Nanny To Care For 2 Sweet Boys

Overview:
LAKE HOPATCONG, NJ (LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY): Lovely family seeking a TEMPORARY LIVE-OUT, FULL-TIME NANNY to care for their two eldest boys (Almost 4 and 2 years old) as mom is expecting her third child any day now! The eldest is more on the shy side but is very sweet and warms up over time. The younger is outgoing and a little on the “wild side”! The family is looking for someone who is caring, has high energy, and is engaging. Someone who ultimately is able to "keep the boys active and entertained" while mom cares for the newest member! This is a temporary position from 9/11/23-10/13/2023.
The day will begin with the nanny arriving in the morning to help the family get ready for the day. Mom will do most, if not all of the driving, so the nanny will either be in the home with the child(ren) or accompanying mom while driving. The eldest is in school MWF 7:30 AM-2:45 PM as well as having Occupational Therapy on Thursdays at 9 AM. The younger child is in the home full-time and goes along to the appointments as needed.
Daily tasks will include light housekeeping throughout the day to keep things tidy and organized. Ideally, they are looking for the laundry for the family to be done, but at minimum for the children. Light meal prep and cooking is preferred! Since mom will be caring for the newborn, someone who is a self-starter, proactive and organized will do well in this role.
The family lives in a residential area that is quiet, safe, and walkable. A lovely community park is just a short walk away and something the kids will enjoy! Parking is available at or near the home. The home is roughly 25-30 minutes from Morristown, NJ.
Pay is $25-$35 commensurate with experience. Start date is 9/11, but possibly sooner for the right fit and/or if the baby arrives early!
Qualifications:
BA/BS college degree | AA in related field of study
CPR/First Aid Certification (renew as needed)
Ability to make a one-year commitment unless applying for a temporary position
A passion for working with children
Two+ years childcare experience
Excellent work and personal references
U.S. driver's license (this does not apply to NYC residents)
Complete Stop the Silence Training upon Membership
Fluent in English/Bilingual a plus
Competent swimmer
Non-smoker
Willing to go through extensive Background Check
Must be Live-Scanned and registered with Trustline if CA resident
Willingness to show proof of immunizations
No-cell phone driving signed guarantee
Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
