Overview:

• Performs a variety of technical and clerical functions in the HIM department in accordance with departmental policies and procedures.
• Assure medical records (paper & electronic) are received, processed and scanned in a timely and accurate manner to support patient care, and the revenue management cycle.

Qualifications:

• 1 year in an acute care medical records department or customer service role/ industry preferred
• Education- High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Self-starting, independent individual.
• Basic analytical skills preferred
• Highly motivated and organized problem solver.
• Basic problem solving skills preferred
• Attention to detail.
• Experience
