Coral Gables Family Seeking Lovely Full-Time, Live-In Or Live-Out Nanny For Daughter

MIAMI, FL (LOCAL CANDIDATES PREFERRED): Lovely family relocating from Chicago to Coral Gables is seeking a safe, caring, and trustworthy FULL-TIME LIVE-OUT/LIVE-IN nanny to join their family in caring for their 17-month-old daughter. The family wants someone who is seeking a long-term placement, to grow with the family and be a positive role model in their daughter’s lives. Someone who is cautious and safety-focused, paired with good judgment, and has a passion for childcare will thrive in this role. Excellent communication and collaboration are expected and appreciated.
The family will be moving to Miami in October. They are willing to trial with a candidate in Chicago and or Miami depending on the timeframe. The Miami home is fully equipped to support a live-in role should the candidate choose to do so. Both parents work full-time, and Mom works from home, so comfort with working alongside parents will be necessary. They seek a nanny who has common sense and has experience working with young children.
Caring for and nurturing their daughter by creating a safe environment is priority one, with creative stimulation and development a close second. Their daughter is a very happy, engaging and highly energetic child. She is playful, fun and highly social. She is very good at communicating her needs (through speech, sign language, pointing, etc.). Must be willing to be active and creative! She will be attending preschool from 9am-12pm Monday-Friday.
The schedule will be roughly 11:30am-7:30pm Monday-Friday, with the possibility of additional hours, date nights, and overnights (all will be discussed and agreed upon beforehand). If living in, early morning assistance would be helpful. Tasks will include but are not limited to, full care for the child, including laundry, meal prep and light housekeeping. All vaccinations are required and an NDA must be signed. The opportunity to travel may be available so please be travel-ready, both domestically and internationally. Bilingual or multilingual would be a bonus!
The home is in a peaceful residential area with ample parking. The home has a beautiful garden to enjoy, as well as a pool. They do plan to fence the pool in but someone who has experience with water safety and swimming with children is preferred. Mom wants to ensure the child is being kept safe at all times, especially when outside.
Pay is $30-$35, commensurate with experience, gross pay via payroll. Paid vacation, sick time and holidays included. Mileage will be reimbursed for all miles driven on the job. Ideal start date 10/9/23. Relocation assistance will be provided for the right fit.
Qualifications:
BA/BS college degree | AA in related field of study
CPR/First Aid Certification (renew as needed)
Ability to make a one-year commitment unless applying for a temporary position
A passion for working with children
Two+ years childcare experience
Excellent work and personal references
U.S. driver's license (this does not apply to NYC residents)
Complete Stop the Silence Training upon Membership
Fluent in English/Bilingual a plus
Competent swimmer
Non-smoker
Willing to go through extensive Background Check
Must be Live-Scanned and registered with Trustline if CA resident
Willingness to show proof of immunizations
No-cell phone driving signed guarantee
Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
