Position Summary


The Project Manager will be an operational and project management thinker and executor embedded in the entire end-to-end creative & marketing process. The Project Manager will be the engine that helps facilitate and drive cross-functional teams to deliver results across the organization. The incumbent will partner with Marketing, Creative, Production & Comms leaders to deliver on the holistic visions and execution of all Studio outputs.


Operations serves as a core function for the LA Galaxy's content studio (Galaxy Studios), providing cross-functional coordination and communications across all Studio capabilities, and the liaison for ticketing and sponsorship.


Essential Functions


  • Oversees all Studio Operations and accountable for cross-functional productivity, marketing excellence and delivery, Creates, integrates, and operates a seamless operating process for the Studio, overseeing the workflow across all Studio initiatives.
  • Partners with Analytics to leverage data to provide a sharp marketing perspective and add strategic and project management value at every step of the marketing process.
  • Key point of contact for the ticketing and sponsorship leadership to partner and plan for future initiatives, as well as help manage the day-to-day integration and workflow between the teams.
  • Serve as partner & advisor to Studio Leads, Ticketing and Sponsorship. Plays an influential role during the project management planning of all new projects or engagements.
  • Partners with department leaders to ensure that all groups within the department are staying on task to deadlines and agreed upon content production, by providing periodic updates. The Project Manager will confirm if productivity is being upheld and that project checkpoints are met and up to standard and satisfaction.


Required Qualifications


  • Demonstrates a sharp knowledge of, and thoughtful POV on, the principles of marketing, including strategy, creative, production, execution, and media.
  • Experience managing and collaborating with large cross-functional teams
  • BA/BS Degree (4-year) - In Business Preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • 4-6 years in account management and/ or marketing experience in an integrated marketing and/or digitally led marketing capacity.
  • Knowledge of various Project Management methodologies
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to interact with people of varying roles and seniority
  • Strong computer skills with a proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
  • Experience working for a brand and ideally within a sports, entertainment or media environment
  • Proven track record of building, leading and inspiring teams in fast-paced, creative environments
  • Self-directed, proactive, and able to work independently
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional time management skills with the ability to multi task and identify and manage priorities


Pay Scale: $72,766 - $106,117
