Kuja Kuja Interpreter Jobs

With high levels of skill in Arabic and English, the Kuja Kuja Interpreter will help the global team develop machine learning algorithms to translate ideas given by the local communities in West Bank and Gaza. This person will be guided by the Data Analyst for Middle East.

• Review automated translation of ideas given by the local communities.
• Support the global team in improving automated translation algorithms of the communities’ ideas.

Specific Activities

• Written translation from Arabic to English.
• With guidance from the data analysis team, provide language inputs into translation algorithms.
• Review of automated translations from Arabic to English.
• Support translation of other Kuja Kuja products as necessary during the project period.

Skills and experience we’re seeking

• Interested in communications, social enterprise and social impact
• Ability to connect with global teams across multiple time zones
• Experience with written translations from Arabic to English, and English to Arabic
• Appetite for learning and growing within your work, and a curiosity to ask questions often!
• Excellent written communication skills in formal Arabic and English
