Junior Staff Accountant Jobs

The Staff Accountant will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing financial reports, and performing various accounting tasks to ensure accurate and timely financial information. Location: North Fresno|Compensation: $55K-$65K| Schedule: Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm| Benefits: Exceptional Benefits Package!

Responsibilities:

• Assist with annual budget preparation and analysis
• Prepare and file monthly and quarterly tax returns
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and monitor cash balances
• Provide support to the finance team as needs
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
• Maintain general ledger accounts and prepare journal entries
• Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports
• Conduct regular audits of financial records to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP and company policies

Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles
• 1+ year of experience
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
