Job Description

I am looking for a junior risk analyst with 3-5 years of work experience, ideally in risk management or related area on the buy side (equities is a plus), who is a self-starter with strong motivation and a mixed skill set (tech + quant + finance), and can work independently with minimum supervision. The person will work closely with me and the Chief Risk Officer/risk management team on several risk mandates at Hudson Bay.


  • A quantitative or engineering background is required.
  • Strong programming skill is a must, especially Python and SQL
  • CFA and/or FRM is a plus.
  • Excellent team player with good communication skills
  • Above average finance/risk management related knowledge, preferably in equities
