Job Description
Junior Marketing Analyst
Summary
The Junior Marketing Analyst will support developing and optimizing the company's digital marketing and business analytics ecosystem by assisting with data analysis and reporting. They will work closely with the Director of Digital Engagement and Marketing Analytics and collaborate with the finance, marketing, sales, and IT teams to help drive insights and improvements in the organization's digital marketing and business intelligence initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Domo, Power BI, etc., is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of programming languages like SQL, Python, or R is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in digital marketing, business administration, analytics, or a related field, or currently pursuing a degree with relevant coursework completed.
  • 1+ years of work experience in analytics, marketing strategy, or consulting, including internships or volunteer work.
  • Basic knowledge of data modeling and statistical analysis techniques
  • Familiarity with digital marketing and web analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, SEO tools, etc.

  • Strong analytical skills with an ability to synthesize complex information from multiple sources.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and department heads.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills to effectively convey findings and recommendations to team members.
  • Quick learner with a willingness to adapt and develop new skills.

Essential Functions
  • Support the creation, implementation, validation, and ongoing support of data visualization tools and recurring reports.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Digital Engagement to identify and surface areas of optimization and improvement.
  • Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure data quality and consistency across systems and databases.
  • Help track overall marketing program success against KPIs and contribute to the reporting process.
  • Contribute to data analysis, data validation, and data mapping/design to drive speed to business leader decision-making.
  • Actively participate in team meetings, sharing insights and ideas for improving processes and methodologies
  • Continuously develop analytical skills and industry knowledge to stay current with best practices and emerging trends in digital marketing and business analytics.
  • Assist in building a top-of-funnel measurement plan and framework, supporting measuring different digital touch points of a customer's journey.
  • Assist in monitoring and capitalizing on emerging digital channels, trends, and technologies.
Physical Demands
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally. Sit for long hours a day and work in front of a computer. Be able to travel to the home office and other events 7 – 10 days a quarter.
