Sr. Personnel Security Specialist (Triage Area) Security Clearance Required

Security Specialist Triage Area – Personnel Security (NGA Campus East (NCE) – Springfield, VA: The contractor shall review, analyze and process all Continuous Evaluation/Continuous Vetting (CE/CV) electronic reports for investigators. The contractor will process Continuous Evaluation Program (CEP) reportable alerts that are initiated by the agency population.

Primary Responsibilities

• Identify any outstanding actions on a weekly basis to the government Team Lead.
• Review and analyze polygraphs as they come from our internal partner for investigator assignment
• The Contractor may address any limitations with meeting the metrics in PWS Section 4.4, Security Specialist Area – Personnel Security, with the Branch or Division Chief.
• Complete processing of all security reportable as defined with the triage plan: two working day for high risk, 10 working days for medium risk, and 30 calendar days for low risk.
• Document, file, and maintain all actions in the PeopleSoft security system of record.

Basic Qualifications

• Individual must have a minimum of 11 years of experience in related field with particular emphasis on financial/security investigations and/or adjudications.
• Candidate must have a Top Secret/SCI level clearance with excellent written and verbal communication skills and be proficient with Microsoft Office software.
• Candidates will be subject to a Counterintelligence Polygraph (CI) examination.

Preferred Qualifications

• Completion of the ICD-704 Adjudications Course, Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC).
• A strong background in the Banking/Financial and/or Adjudication industry; investigative experience; (i.e., personnel security, counterintelligence, or law enforcement) at the local, state, or federal levels;

This position has a target range for compensation of $120,000 - $130,000. This is a firm fixed price contract and does not allow for negotiations outside of this target range.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $75,400.00 - $116,000.00 - $156,600.00
