Job Summary:As a member of the Design team at Fieldstone Homes you will play a vital role in the Design Studio process. Working closely with our Senior Interior Designer and other team members, you will be involved in various aspects of the design process, from concept development to project implementation. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and passionate individual who is eager to gain valuable experience in the production homebuilding and the design industry.

Scope of Responsibilities:

•Must be friendly, have an outgoing personality, and display a professional appearance at all times when meeting with buyers

•Deliver the highest level of customer service, ensuring all buyers receive an excellent buying experience

•Assist with Design Studio management and sample/product maintenance – ie: manufacturer back orders/discontinuations, keeping inventory up-to-date, ordering samples and supplies

•Meet with potential buyers for Design Studio browse appointments

·Schedule Design Studio buyer appointments

•Meet with buyers in all standard production communities – managing the buyer design process, assisting buyers with color selections and complete paperwork from start to finish

•Must process finalized DC/design paperwork in an efficient manner and hit goal dates from the construction schedule

·Load pre-colorized Quick Move-in Homes into design software and process applicable paperwork

•Assist Design Team with home buyer reselects and/or change orders as needed

•Extensive knowledge of Fieldstone Homes’ floor plans, Design Studio products and options available (thorough training will be provided)

Requirements:

•Education: High school diploma or equivalent

•Experience: 2-3 years in customer service, sales, and/or design

•Computer and application skills and use of varied technology (email, iPad, adobe PDF editor, Microsoft suite, etc. familiarity with AutoCad and Design Softwares a plus!)

•Must be a friendly and outgoing person who enjoys working with clients in a customer service/sales environment

•Eager to learn and take on a variety of tasks and projects to gain further knowledge of the department and business

•Passionate about design and interior finishes – looking to expand their design skills and product knowledge

•Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple buyer appointments at a time

•Strong communication skills with buyers, other departments, and trades/subcontractors
