Responsibilities

Work with the Head of Strategy to develop and build out the data strategy strengths of Open Influence.


Overarching roles and responsibilities:

  • Develop a KPI POV and framework, along with key benchmarks across Open Influence campaigns, clients, and the creator/influencer marketing industry
  • Develop creative strategy and briefs rooted in data to inspire and support creative campaigns, their ideas, and tactical recommendations (such as platforms, features, etc)
  • Conduct primary social listening using a variety of tools and scrappy methodology
  • Support automation of data sourcing and compilation to allow for time to be betters pent on analysis
  • Advance A/B testing programs for our own offerings and client marketing
  • Create an insights library to host and make insights searchable
  • Overhaul our data architecture, systems, processes, and offering
  • Organize, pull and analyze data to transform it into actionable insights
  • Aggregate data and create process, workstreams, listening tools, and best practices for Open Influence data
  • Understand basic and or experienced with APIs, excel sheet data pulls, pivot tables, data visualization, CRM & SaaS.
  • Create wrap reports, benchmark reports, industry reports, and data marketing pieces (articles, thought leadership pov’s, posts)
  • Identify and share new data-supported trends, insights, and shifts

Additional roles and responsibilities:

  • Distill client briefs, conduct research, and analysis to develop strategic concepts and plans that address client needs
  • Ability to manage a high volume of work
  • Work with the creative team to develop detailed, multi-platform influencer marketing campaign strategies for multiple client verticals
  • Continue to develop and maintain a strong understanding of the main social media platforms and the latest social/influencer-related trends
  • Create impactful presentations and reports that clearly articulate the key aspects of the strategic plan
  • Contribute insights that provide strategic context and elevate the Creative Team’s work
  • Clearly communicate and defend the rationale behind the recommended strategy


Experience/Requirements

  • Dynamic and resourceful, with the ability to prioritize and be held accountable for multiple projects with fast turnarounds
  • Experience working with influencer-related concepts/strategies
  • Understanding of the Influencer space, branded content, and the social/digital advertising landscape
  • Comfortable navigating the nuances of working with a diverse portfolio of clients including but not limited to Automotive, TV/Film, Lifestyle, Fashion & Beauty, CPG, and Gaming
  • 1-2+ years in data strategy and appreciation for creative strategy in creative strategy, influencer marketing, social media, or other related creative fields
  • Time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. You are a creative and strategic thinker able to connect our client’s goals through a logical approach. You can take a complex concept and present it in a way that is easy to understand.
  • Google Slides, Powerpoint, and/or Keynote literacy
  • Understand the RFP process, analyzing briefs, the problems brands are trying to solve, and how to deliver an effective response
  • Ability to flex strategic thinking at different altitudes from granular data and tactical points to macro insights and observations
