Looking for a Junior Business Systems Analyst opportunity at a place you can make a difference every day? Discover this great opportunity as part of the HIAR/HIAM contract team in supporting the United States Air Force at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base / Beavercreek, OH area. Serco supports the Serco supports the United States Air Force and provides support for the Stock Control System which is used to manage and control stock (e.g., parts, spare parts, and tools) to keep our military aircraft and foreign partner aircrafts flying. Also, SCS provides financial accounting for all this stock/inventory and reports to Air Force level financial systems and eventually to higher levels of government. This environment will provide you with new challenges and opportunity to use and perhaps hone your existing skills in support of this project.

You will be part of a multi-functional team in the Life Cycle Management Center, which is comprised of managers, other SMEs, business analysts, cybersecurity professionals, system users and their representatives, and others. Our team has been recognized by the US Air Force as providing top quality services in support of the customers.


In this role, you will:
  • Cooperate with auditors and oversee internal access management and security compliance monitoring activities in accordance with United States government and USAF directives and contractual obligations
  • Analyze program administrative oversight components and identify any risks or issues; provide a recommendation for reducing or eliminating same
  • Provide updates on projects, provide briefs, and formulate recommendations for leadership
  • Support the customer’s (Government’s) needs by responding to Program Managers’ requests for data, attendance at meetings, and other tasks, as required
  • Properly manage DD Form 2875s and other personnel documentation for compliance and audit purposes in accordance with Air Force (AF) regulations, contractual obligations, and other relevant procedures
  • Interact with government personnel, other SCS SMEs, configuration management (CM) contractors, security contractors, and development support contractors to assist them with keeping their system access (DD-2875) forms up to date, particularly SCS access requests; oversee the signature routing process in SharePoint or the e2875 tool; and serve as liaison and follow up with DISA for same
  • At least monthly, perform an internal audit to validate user access requests against the current user/account list and affix signature to certify the resulting workbook in accordance with the System Security Plan and other requirements
  • Interact with SCS civilians, other SCS SMEs, and other SCS contractors to assist them with keeping their Information Awareness (IA) Training up to date.
  • Work within Microsoft SharePoint and other information systems to manage various other documents and tracking facilities, especially those related to personnel security and system access management
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will have:
  • Familiar with AF Instructions (AFI), Technical Order (TO) policies, and other Department of Defense (DoD) directives
  • 1+ years' of relevant experience
  • Working knowledge of AF logistics systems
  • Working knowledge of common Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
  • Ability to read and analyze complex data
  • Advanced writing and editing skills; especially of technical documentation, manuals, and compliance reports
  • An active NACI clearance
  • High school diploma/GED
Additional desired experience and skills:
  • 1+ years of equivalent experience in an AF or DoD project support environment
  • Experience with Microsoft Access
  • Working knowledge of the Stock Control System (SCS)
  • Experience monitoring compliance matters, especially documentation management in an AF information system environment
  • Bachelor’s degree or associates degree
  • An active NACI or higher level of clearance
