In this vital role you will implement a single, unified Veeva QMS platform integrated with other core Amgen platforms delivering a consistent, simple, mobile ready user experience with advanced automation and analytics capabilities. In addition, the Digital QMS Initiative is expected to be the “pilot” for a new Risk Based Validation approach aligning with industry trends and revised agency guidance.

To support Digital QMS and to support legacy QMS platforms during the transition, Amgen is seeking a highly motivated and technical minded Business Analyst to configure the Veeva QMS product, engage with technical teams on data interfaces, and develop reporting and analytics within this large cross-functional initiative. The primary responsibilities of the Digital QMS Associate IS Bus Sys Analyst are:

• Drive completion of tasks consistent with overall initiative timelines specifically related to user requirements, product configuration, release management and system testing
• Perform testing of the product to ensure alignment with business expectations
• Collaborate with Digital QMS Validation and Quality Assurance (QA) Leads to author and implement formal and informal test cases that fully leverage the latest industry trends in risk-based validation and Software Quality Assurance (SQA)
• Identify and deploy automation opportunities across the Quality processes in scope of Digital QMS utilizing Veeva QMS tools and external automation tools.
• Configure the Veeva QMS product allowing for flawless addition of new capabilities including Veeva releases and advanced analytics
• Provide application support on existing QMS applications to ensure the appropriate availability and functionality is managed including decommissioning activities as processes are enabled in the new Veeva platform
• Document technical design and configuration specifications that support iterative releases of the product, integrations, and analytics

Basic Qualifications:

"Bachelor’s degree

OR

Associate’s degree and 4 years of systems or business analysis experience

Or

High school diploma / GED and 6 years of systems or business analysis experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Veeva Vault in particular Veeva QMS!
• Experience providing application support.
• Highly motivated with the ability to work independently and efficiently, managing timelines and expectations, and producing high-quality deliverables (documentation, presentations, proof-of-concepts, etc.)
• Strong business insight with the ability to understand sophisticated business processes
• Strong time management, customer service, and conflict resolution skills
• Experience working in development Product Teams effectively utilizing agile methodologies
• Knowledge of automation and advanced analytics technology tools to streamline processes
• Ability to prioritize managing multiple tasks simultaneously placing priority on the success of the team!
• Experience working in a matrixed environment effectively building relationships across multiple levels of DTI and Quality
• Experience working in a GxP environment
• Experience performing system testing to ensure alignment with specifications
• Solid foundation of developing design and configuration specifications and test cases

The annual base salary range for this opportunity in the U.S. is $67,683-78,100 USD.
