Jr. Counterparty Risk Analyst
Location:

What you'll do:
The counterparty risk team at AmeriHome is responsible for performing due diligence on new prospective bank and mortgage company clients, monitoring existing client relationships, and providing analysis and recommendations to our executive management team. Applicants must be interested in research, data entry, writing, financial analysis.
What we are looking for:
  • Data entry of client information
  • Analyze and spread financial statements for bank and mortgage company clients
  • Research and collect data from multiple web sources
  • Communicate with clients regularly via email and phone to obtain documentation
  • Identify risks, trends, and concerns and write comprehensive analysis
  • Draft and send legal documents and notices to clients
  • Use checklists to ensure all application items are received and complete
  • Manage team email inboxes
  • Verify accuracy of data between documents and systems
What you will need:
  • Analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Attention to detail
  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
  • Clear and effective written and verbal communication
  • Familiarity with Adobe Acrobat to view and modify PDF files
  • Strong organization and time management skills
  • Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook
  • Ability to learn quickly and work both independently and in a team environment
Compensation Information
Salary range for new hires is generally $22.75 – $28.00 per hour. Salary amount reflects Southern California, salary is determined by specific job location. In addition, the role may be eligible for annual bonus/incentives earned.
