We are seeking a talented and motivated Frontend Software Developer to join our dynamic team and contribute to the development of our state-of-the-art web-based applications.

As a Frontend Software Developer at BioReact, you will be responsible for creating intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces that enable our clients to interact seamlessly with our machine learning bioprocess software. You will collaborate closely with our design and product teams to translate complex bioprocess data into user-friendly interfaces, ensuring a smooth and intuitive user experience.

Responsibilities

1. Develop and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable front-end code using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks.
2. Collaborate with the design and product teams to translate UI/UX designs into responsive and interactive web pages.
3. Implement best practices and ensure code quality through code reviews, testing, and debugging.
4. Optimize application performance and enhance user experience by implementing efficient front-end techniques and technologies.
5. Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility for consistent user experience across different platforms.
6. Collaborate with back-end developers and API teams to integrate front-end components with server-side logic.
7. Work closely with stakeholders to understand project requirements, provide technical expertise, and deliver high-quality solutions.
8. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in front-end development, and share knowledge with the team.
9. Troubleshoot and resolve front-end issues and bugs, ensuring smooth operation of web applications.
10. Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to make iterative improvements to the user interface.
11. Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, estimation, and daily stand-ups.
12. Document technical specifications, system architecture, and project-related information for future reference.
13. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical and design dependencies.
14. Continuously enhance personal and professional development through training, attending conferences, and staying informed about emerging technologies.

Qualifications

• Solid knowledge of browser rendering behavior and performance optimization techniques.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and working in an iterative development environment.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integrating front-end applications with back-end services.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Strong understanding of responsive web design principles and mobile-first development.
• Proven experience in front-end web development, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality user experiences.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Proficiency in one or more front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Experience with version control systems like Git and collaborative development workflows.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with designers, developers, and stakeholders.
