Job Description

Currently, we are seeking individuals to fill an IT Quality Analyst opportunity with our client in Cleveland, Ohio. This is a very exciting opportunity working with one of the top employers in the area. This opportunity is 100% remote! Candidate MUST reside in the United States.
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of related work experience.
Responsibilities:
  • Performs in-depth analysis by weighing relevance and accuracy of information to provide alternative solutions while appropriately incorporating input from others.
  • Participates in requirements reviews, design reviews, systems analysis and testing review discussions.
  • Provides status and results of testing activities.
  • Determines scope and focus of testing effort and creates Test Strategy and risk analysis to guide testing efforts.
  • Prepares test data scripts, based on ETL mapping artifacts, executes data scripts and analyzes execution results
  • Gathers requirement specifications necessary for establishing testing scope
  • Creates, uses and maintains automated scripts to increase efficiencies in testing, including
  • Communicates regularly with team members, data analysts and advocates for resolution of high priority problems
  • Establishes readiness on tasks, analyzes risk, provides estimates and plans work for testing efforts.

  • Provides guidance on complex issues to others as needed.

Required Skills:
  • Experience with Cloud database technologies (e.g. Snowflake, Azure, AWS, GCP etc.)
  • Strong experience with SQL and stored procedure testing with the ability to write SQL queries for testing purpose.

Preferred Skills:
  • Strong experience with SQL and stored procedure testing with the ability to write SQL queries for testing purpose.
  • Experience with UNIX and Windows platforms from a testing/development perspective.
  • Experience with Snowflake
  • Providing testing leadership in design reviews, code reviews, and test reviews.
  • Experience with Agile methodology
  • Experience with ADO
  • Author test plans for various data and analytics projects, with a focus on Hadoop, Microsoft Parallel Data Warehouse, SQL server, DB2 etc.
  • Solid understanding of data warehouse concepts and architecture.
  • Analyzing trends in data and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Experience with SSIS or other ETL (Extract, Transform and Load) tools.
