Job Description

At Boeing, we innovate and collaborate to make the world a better place. From the seabed to outer space, you can contribute to work that matters with a company where diversity, equity and inclusion are shared values. We’re committed to fostering an environment for every teammate that’s welcoming, respectful and inclusive, with great opportunity for professional growth. Find your future with us.

The Boeing IT Career Foundation Program (ITCFP) is a two-year rotation program that offers the opportunity to rotate through four different roles in IT and Data Analytics (IT&DA) skill areas. These areas include, but are not limited to, software and application development for cloud, product management, data science and analytics, information security, cloud infrastructure operations, and product lifecycle management. Outside of the rotations participants will be completing, the ITCFP also offers unique development opportunities for its program participants. These opportunities include technical trainings, annual all-team events, executive roundtables, mentoring experiences, and more! The ITCFP has committees that run these different events for program participants- as a participant you will be able to engage with the committees and lead these events to grow your leadership and organizational skills.

Information Technology & Data Analytics (IT&DA) is responsible for the systems that support all aspects of the business. IT&DA designs, deploys, operates, and maintains the computing and telecommunications infrastructure for The Boeing Company through developing and sustaining product systems in partnership with our Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Supplier Management organizations. As an organization, Boeing IT&DA establishes common processes, standards and procedures to use, protect and share information, and comply with government, regulatory and competitive obligations. These goals are accomplished by investing in our people through programs such as the ITCFP! Participants get hands-on, experiential challenges and responsibilities to help shape themselves and the future of IT&DA at the company.

As an ITCFP participant, you will be assigned challenging rotations in IT&DA skill areas under the mentoring of technology professionals who provide industry-leading solutions. You will assist in designing, developing, and implementing best in class technological solutions for our business, our partners, and our customers. You will be assigned roles that will allow you to apply and expand on the skills you have developed at school and in your introductory IT&DA experiences to build a solid foundation for your future career with Boeing.

Selected candidates will be extended an offer in one of the three US locations: Greater Seattle Area, Greater St. Louis Area, or North Charleston, SC. Location preferences will be considered, but not guaranteed. Relocation will be provided as needed and participants are expected to be located near their assigned program site prior to their start date. We are currently recruiting for positions that start in 2024. Degree credentialing will be verified.

  • Cross-business unit and various functional rotations provide a holistic view of the company
  • Opportunity to participate in and lead development activities, including site tours, mentoring, roundtables with executives, and leadership seminars
  • Graduates benefit from expanded career opportunities, a larger network, and depart the program prepared to take on advanced technical and leadership roles at an accelerated rate
  • Assignments are structured to provide learning experiences that support the individual development of each employee
  • Incumbents are participants in a full time company sponsored employee development program
