It Business Systems Analyst (Healthcare)

Job Responsibilities: • Responsible for designing & developing NextGen solutions for Healthcare Insurance industry. • Design, build, test and maintain enablers of business processes, including technology and process solutions with a focus on medium to high complexity, multiple large application business processes and business relationships. • Collaborate with business users and stakeholders through design and implementation, including needs analysis and system requirements. • Consult with users to identify current operating procedures and to clarify program objectives. • Write documentation to describe systems requirements in detailed use cases and user stories. • Write manuals for users to describe functionalities and features. • Work independently, use available resources to get unblocked, and complete tasks on-schedule by exercising strong judgment and problem-solving skills. • Interact with team members to determine best solutions. • Interact with product owners and end-users to understand business needs. • Get feedback from, and build solutions for, users and customers. Required Skills: • 7+ years of related experience • Experience with creating documentation, data/process analysis, and requirements gathering for the application development. • Experience with Business Process Modeling tools. • In Depth knowledge of Health plans, Claims life Cycle. • In Depth knowledge of Government Plans like Medicare and Medicaid. • Experience in designing solutions for Health plans and supporting Product Owners for creating solutions. • Experience in supporting the development team on User Stories and Testing teams on defects. • Experience of working in Agile teams – Scrum/KANBAN • Experience in scripting for RDBMS like Oracle/ MS SQL • Experience of executing projects in Agile using continuous / continuous deployment • Excellent communication skills and a degree of technical leadership skills. • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, related field or equivalent experience. Preferred Skills • Experience with ITSM processes or tools in coordination with other IT processes and disciplines (e.g., software development, operations, infrastructure)
