Tekberry is looking for a highly qualified and motivated individual to work with our client, a world-class university and research center. As a W2 employee you will have access to health benefits. We are seeking a talented and driven Data/Business Analyst Intern to join our team and contribute to the Technology Platform Assessment and Strategy initiative. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting the core team in analyzing IT application inventory data, literature, and market data from vendors and research firms like Gartner and Forrester, as well as peer institutions. Your primary focus will be to identify trends and patterns, while also identifying gaps and overlaps in Stanford's IT assets.
Responsibilities

• Assist in documenting findings and recommendations for future reference.
• Identify potential improvements or efficiencies in Stanford's IT assets and contribute to strategic decision-making.
• Collaborate with the core team to generate reports and metrics using Google Sheets or similar platforms.
• Conduct research on market data from vendors and research firms to compare and evaluate technology solutions.
• Analyze IT application inventory data and other relevant information to uncover trends and insights.
• Communicate and collaborate with internal contacts to gather updates and maintain accurate information.

Requirements

• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Familiarity with data analysis techniques and tools, particularly using Google Sheets.
• Good communication skills to interact with team members and internal contacts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Eagerness to learn and contribute to a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.
