Qualifications


Specialized Experience GS-13 You may qualify for the GS-13 grade level, if you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level (obtained in either the public or private sector). Experience includes performing duties such as: Conducting investigations of internal or external corruption and or misconduct. Preparing written analysis of issues and complaints. Leading members of multidisciplinary teams. Specialized Experience GS-14 You may qualify for the GS-14 grade level, if you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 grade level (obtained in either the public or private sector). Experience includes performing duties such as: Planning, conducting, or managing investigations. Developing innovative strategies, or methods to establish the framework for investigation findings. Reviewing written materials such as reports and supporting documentation involving critical issues and cases. Overseeing new and evolving investigative personnel. National Service Experience (i.e., volunteer experience): Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. All qualification requirements must be met by the closing date of this announcement.
