Job Summary

In this role, you will report to the Supervisor, Onsite Services and will work closely with the Avantor’s Lab and Production Services team of over 1,500 on- and off-site expert personnel – and our customers – to perform customized, mission-based lab work and research protocols that help return time back to science.

Location: Chandler, AZ 85226
Shift: Mon – Fri, 7 am – 8 pm
Wage: $17.20 per hour
Sign-On Bonus: $1500 pays out after 30 days employment.

What we’re looking for: 
Education: High School diploma or GED is required  
Experience: Minimum 1+ years of experience in inventory replenishment, material handling, and/or customer service is required.   
Qualifications:  

• Experience working in a manufacturing environment strongly desired.
• Spill containment, IATA, DOT, IMDG, and/or OSHA training desired, not required.
• Basic computer literacy including MS Word and Excel required.
• Knowledge of Fab support services desired, not required.
• Able to lift 50 lbs. required.
• High level of customer service skills including the ability to display a professional, can-do demeanor.

Avantor’s Lab and Production Services team is a crucial part of the Avantor Services group serving over 500 customers in biopharma, pharmaceutical, educational, industrial, and high-tech industries with customizable, flexible solutions and end-to-end laboratory operations support.

In this role you will:

• Basic order entry and follow-up on existing back-orders,
• Updating and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs),
• Maintains and checks safety stations,
• Responsible for logistical activities such as shipping and receiving of materials through coordination with 3rd  party couriers,
• Handles chemicals, including hazardous materials,
• Facilitates orders for consumable lab inventory replenishment,
• Handles customer’s point of use or stockroom inventory,
• Cleanroom garment management,
• Other duties as assigned.
