We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Inventory Specialist to join our team. As an Inventory Specialist, you will play a vital role in maintaining accurate inventory levels and ensuring the efficient flow of products within our organization. Your primary responsibilities will include counting inventory, conducting cycle counts, processing returns, restocking returned items, and assisting with special projects as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform regular and accurate counts of inventory to ensure inventory levels are up-to-date and accurate.
- Conduct cycle counts to identify discrepancies and address inventory inaccuracies promptly.
- Process returns from customers, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to return policies.
- Efficiently restock returned items to appropriate inventory locations, maintaining organized storage areas.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve inventory-related issues and discrepancies.
- Assist in the preparation and execution of special projects, such as inventory audits, system upgrades, and process improvements.
- Maintain clear and comprehensive records of inventory transactions and adjustments.
- Communicate effectively with team members to address inventory-related concerns and maintain smooth operations.
- Uphold safety protocols and adhere to company policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in inventory management, cycle counting, and returns processing.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in counting and recording inventory.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication skills.
- Proficiency in using inventory management software and scanners.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Physical capability to lift and move inventory items as required.
