Role Overview
The Inventory Control Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of inventory control in our ERP system and our 3PL warehouse, Amazon, and other locations in North America, UK, and EU. This position requires an expert understanding of processes and systems that support accurate and effective inventory management. The Inventory Control Manager will oversee inventory control and work closely with other departments across the company to create and maintain the smooth operation of inventory management processes.
Responsibilities
- Work with Aura’s Accounting team to reconcile any inventory discrepancies
- Have primary responsibility for inventory records management
- Create and manage inventory management–related reports and Key Performance Indicators
- Manage inventory cycle count and audit at multiple 3PLs globally
- Maintain inventory data and transaction accuracy in ERP
- Own product master data and life cycle management
Qualifications:
- Familiarity with Metabase or another business-intelligence tool is a plus
- 5+ years of experience working in operations, supply chain, and inventory management
- Excellent customer focus (internal / external), with ability to connect inventory management to our wider company strategy and goals.
- Data driven and analytical, with good Excel or Google Sheets skills including Pivot Tables and other data-analysis tools
- Self starter and adaptive, able to implement and change processes as needed
- Flexible and adaptable to rapidly changing business needs
- Strong organizational skills, with ability to prioritize workload to meet deadlines
- Strong ERP knowledge and experience, preferably with Netsuite
- Comfortable working with cross-functional teams (Supply Chain, Finance and Accounting, IT, etc.) including external partners (3PLs and suppliers) as needed
Compensation:
Salary for this role will be $90,000 - $110,000. We have offices in New York City and San Francisco. We offer the following perks and benefits to all full-time Aura employees based in the US:
