Inventory Planner

Responsibilities

·Manages mill PO’s, warehouse inventory and customer PO’s to optimize warehouse turn

·Manages flow of PO’s and allocates customer orders by SKU and store

·Communicates with accounts, sales, warehouse, and operations to optimize PO delivery

·Analyzes retail sales data to forecast inventory requirements in order to increase business profitability and minimize excess inventory

·Suggests inventory purchases by SKU

·Heavy use of Microsoft Excel, Blue Cherry and Data Raven

·Leverage data analytics tools to create new dashboards, reports, and any additional ad-hoc requests

Prefer individual to possess…

• Solid grasp of retail math and inventory planning concepts
• Experience in reviewing inventory planning KPIs and developing plans to address issues
• Strong brand, retail, supply chain, manufacturing and overall retail business acumen
• Possess strong organizational and time management skills
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in planning, forecasting, inventory management, allocations, and data analysis
• Able to maintain and build effective relationships with cross-functional teams
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills with focus on driving positive results to the bottom line
