Valuation Analyst Jobs

The Portfolio Financial Analyst will have an integral role in supporting the operations / finance / valuations / Investor Relations teams, investment activities and LP reporting processes, including:

- Prepare and update individual portfolio company valuation analyses on a quarterly basis, incorporating an understanding of the relevant supporting accounting valuation methodologies and approaches.

- Interface with portfolio company management teams to gather and analyze monthly and quarterly portfolio company performance. Provide analytical and qualitative support for fundraising, valuations, portfolio company metrics, sale valuation analyses

- Review transaction legal documents to understand respective portfolio company capital structures

- Work closely with investment team members to gain insight into portfolio company performance

- Manage and reconcile portfolio company financial data in iLevel portfolio reporting package

- Become a contributing team member on projects to standardize accounting, finance and reporting of deal metrics for portfolio companies

- Research general economic news, potential target companies, and industries/sectors of interest

Requirements:

- 2 – 4 years of professional experience in a Valuation services practice of a Big 4 or nationally recognized public accounting, consulting firm, or experience working within portfolio analytics at a venture firm

- Excellent record of academic achievement with an accounting and/or finance degree from a leading university

- Strong preference for a CPA or CFA
