Intern-Star Lab Jobs

SRI International’s Speech Technology and Research (STAR) Lab is hiring for an Intern position. You will join a team of engineers and researchers developing applications in speaker and language identification, speech analysis, and other areas of speech/language technology. The position offers numerous opportunities of engagement with different projects, operating systems and applications areas. We are looking for capability to technically assist with new developments and turn ideas into functional systems.

• Contribute to implementation of software applications required by currently funded projects
• Highly motivated to learn and collaborate with other engineers
• Due to government contract requirements candidates must be a US Citizen
• Knowledge and experience with Python, C, Java
• Test, validate and document developed software
• Currently enrolled in software engineering undergraduate program

The salary range is $20-$27/hr. Salary ranges will vary and are based on several factors, including geographic location, market competitiveness and equity amongst internal employees in similar roles. Positions may also qualify for SRI's Pay for Outstanding Performance program or the annual Performance Based Compensation program.
