Internal Communications Specialist Jobs

We have a great client looking to hire a full-time, contract, Internal Communications Specialist to provide support to their team. The ideal candidate will have involvement in both strategy and execution for initiatives that strengthen the brand and improve employee awareness for company-wide initiatives.

LOCATION: Remote (local to PA preferred)

TARGET START DATE: ASAP

JOB TYPE: Contract, W2

HOURS: Full-time, CST, standard work hours

DURATION: 6 months, potential to extend

What you’ll be doing:

• Proactively communicate roadblocks, delays and take preventative action as needed
• Monitor, analyze and report on internal communications initiatives, as well as, identify opportunities for improvement
• Continuously proof and audit all content throughout each step of the creative process to ensure final deliverable is accurate and free of error
• Develop content for communication channels including but not limited to newsletters, blogs and intranet content, emails, video, social media and more
• Provide operational support for any virtual communication meetings and announcements
• Partner with cross-functional departments to gather assets and ensure project deadlines are met on-time, if not, ahead of schedule
• Ideate, plan, and execute internal communications initiatives in a highly collaborative and fast paced team

Qualifications:

• Proven ability to manage projects that involve cross-functional departments/teams
• Must be able to provide internal communications samples for review
• At least 3+ years of internal communications experience
• Proficient in the follow software or similar: Microsoft Office Suite, Sharpoint, Poppulo, Google Analytics, Mailchimp, Workfront
