We currently have an exciting new opportunity for an IT Support Center Intern working with our Support Center Team at HealthPartners. This position consists of 3 months of training and then will be indefinite with the possibly to get hired on. The position will work in a call center taking calls for all IT needs for HealthPartners employees and some external vendors. Previous customer service experience is preferred as the position includes collaborating directly with our users/employees. The position will be located at our Best Buy office location during training and then could work remotely if desired. This position pays $20 per hour with 40 hours scheduled per week. The typical schedule will be business hours Monday through Friday. It may also include weekends and evenings to accommodate business need.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma/GED
- Basic familiarity with computer support concepts
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Background check required
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous computer support work experience
- Current student or recent graduate of a secondary education program focused on an IT-related certificate or degree
- Previous customer service work experience
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Performs hardware and software troubleshooting.
- Assists with access and password issues.
- Provides accurate incident tracking with ticketing software.
- Assists with remote user and connection issues.
OTHER DETAILS:
- $20 per hour wage with 40 hours scheduled per week
- Hours will vary between 7am to 5pm Monday through Friday but could include weekends and evenings to accommodate business need.
