Intake Medical Assistant - Float

NY Health (NYH) is excited to expand our medical services to include the Center for Urology, Primary Care, The Nephrology Center and The Department of Physical Therapy. With multiple locations spanning from the Bronx and Queens to Suffolk County, our health care experts are available and prepared to put your health first.

In this role you will:

• Mange patient intakes (Record accurate patient information).
• Float as needed to several locations.
• Provide assistance to physicians during examinations.
• Prepare patients for examinations.
• Measure and record patients' vital signs.
• Perform venipuncture & point of care testing.
• Sterilize medical equipment and instruments.
• Administer EKGs.
• Collect and process lab specimens, perform venipuncture, flu/covid/strep testing.
• Conduct audiometry testing, spirometry, PFTS, nebulizer treatments, and urine tests.

We require:

• Able and willing to float as needed.
• Medical Assistant Certificate and a High School Diploma
• Bi/Lingual, English/Spanish speaking preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience.
• Proficiency in Word/Excel.

Hours: Monday–Friday and alternating Saturdays

Salary up to $22 per hour.
