Orthopedic Surgery/Sports Medicine Medical Concierge.
Synergy Medical Concierge Services is seeking motivated individuals to work as Medical Concierges in a busy outpatient office alongside an Orthopedic Surgeon in White Plains, NY, and Manhattan. This position is highly competitive as the successful applicant will receive extensive paid classroom training including lectures on patient flow, professionalism, and customer service excellence; medical terminology; basic anatomy; organ system-based pathophysiology; electronic health record proficiency and medical charting; medical billing; and HIPAA compliance, as well as mentoring geared to facilitate the pursuit of long-term career goals for a career in healthcare. We are looking for someone who is serious about pursuing a healthcare career and has an interest in Orthopedics and Sports Medicine.
Responsibilities Include

• Acting as a liaison between providers and their patients.
• Tracking results of ancillary studies such as labs, imaging, and EKGs in real-time.
• Assisting physicians with documentation of patient encounters in the Electronic Health Record.

Position Requirements

• Entry Level.
• Must be able to commit to at least 20 hours per week.
• Must have open availability every weekday, primarily Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.
• Computer proficiency with typing skills above 60 words/minute.
