Job Description

Description

We are seeking an Instructional Design Assessment Specialist to create and administer diagnostic situational judgement tests for performance-focused assessments, in support of the development of high-quality learning assets and experiences. These assets and experiences will be delivered in modalities including face-to-face, hybrid, and virtual learning assets.


Responsibilities

  • Access databases, pull data reports, analyze data reports, synthesize and report findings
  • Analyze learning content to provide stakeholders with meaningful feedback to improve the rigor of learning materials.
  • Apply situational judgement testing to evaluate the effectiveness of learner response.
  • Collaborate with team members, stakeholders, and customers.
  • Administer assessments and situational judgement tests in support of government acquisition training.
  • Apply competency mapping to develop assessments that address the needs of learners
  • Develop other various assessments required for training and instruction, like informal knowledge checks and formal exam questions
  • Create performance-focused assessments designed to measure the learner’s capability to apply the skills and knowledge taught in our learning assets and experiences.
  • Assist our team of Instructional Designers in the creation of learning objectives that align with testing and assessments as designed.
  • Collect and analyze research data on the efficacy of our training and assessment.
  • Analyze assessment question performance and make recommendations for revision to improve learner performance and understanding.
  • 40% learning management data reporting, 30% creating situational judgement test items, 20% attending meetings

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in the design and administration of performance-focused testing and assessment creation.

· Experience working with US Government agencies preferred

· Knowledge of User Centered and User Experience Design practices

  • Strong facilitation and analysis skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

· Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, or a related field from an accredited college or university, or equivalent

  • Possess strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Possess proficiency in MS Office

· Strong command of the English language

  • Core hours of 9am to 3pm ET
  • Reliable high-speed internet connection
