Position Summary:
The Remote Inside Sales Representative is responsible for engaging our client's pharmaceutical client audience. This is done via telephone conversations and virtual interactions. The Inside Remote Virtual Sales Rep (RISR) will promote our clients state of the art chemistry lab services. The RISR will be instrumental in achieve our client's sales goals. The RISR achieves this by developing and maintaining relationships with targeted pharmaceutical companies. These potential clients utilize chemistry lab services pre-drug development. The RISR helps educate potential customers our clients services, features and benefits to sell our clients services The RISR utilizes approved tools for sales promotion and maintains a competent level of services, program and customer activity knowledge.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Verify and complete required data entry of call activity in Veeva
  • Participate in teleconferences and live (when required) company meetings and training sessions
  • Manage daily sales call activity according to defined expectations, with the purpose of influencing customers and increasing product sales
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of Company Product(s) and Program
  • Travel which could include conventions or national meetings
  • On behalf of our client promote the chemistry lab services via remote engagements via telephone or video / audio (outbound calls) by engaging assigned targeted clients
  • Communicate with the team members and Amplity Health Leaders on project’s progress, as required
  • Fully comply with all laws, regulations and Amplity and Company’s Health Policies, Code of Conduct, all privacy and data guidelines and relevant state and federal laws and regulations
  • The RISR will have In-depth discussions to attain individual, territory and company goals for sales, market share, etc
  • Effectively and compliantly communicate with customers using effective selling, listening and negotiation skills, proper terminology and approved messaging, and effectively use approved promotional aids
  • Maintain call productivity and metrics that are required by the program
  • Create and implement business plans to achieve territory and business sales goals
Key Working relationships:
  • Report to Amplity Leader
  • Work closely with other team members assigned to the Program
  • Maintain a positive working relationship with customers and company contacts
Education and Experience:
  • Minimum of 2 years of sales experience in inside and/or field sales required
  • Proof of Covid Vaccine at time of hire is required
  • Ability to travel to work related meetings and functions (including overnight and/or weekend)
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Experience working with meeting platforms such as Zoom, TEAMS, etc
  • Must be able to successfully complete client training and meet training expectations in order to proceed to servicing client’s customers within the parameters of the program
  • Demonstrated technical aptitude and working proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Chemistry, Education , Science majors a plus
  • Scientific product or services experience preferred
  • A valid driver's license and safe driving record,
  • Successful completion of company background check required
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Ability to comprehend and communicate complex technical/medical terminology and to maintain the required technical expertise including competitive product knowledge
  • Good organizational and planning skills, strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to learn, understand and communicate complex information over remote meeting platforms or the telephone
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member
  • Ability to display high-levels of initiative, effort and commitment successfully complete projects and assignments
  • Must be able to deal with people at all levels inside and outside of the company
  • High scientific acumen with business savvy
  • Must be self-motivated and disciplined
  • Flexibility and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Strong focus on providing customers with superior support and service
  • Strong rapport building and active listening skills
  • Excellent selling, closing, persuasion and presentation skills
