Aon Health Solutions is looking for an Innovation and Integrated Solutions Leader for the United States. As part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions in the Health space.


What The Day Will Look Like


The primary focus of this role is to lead the Innovation and Integrated Solutions team in driving thought leadership, developing our areas of focus and expertise and bringing commercially oriented solutions to the market. This includes identifying, defining and driving key priorities and establishing a framework for growth and how we go-to-market.


This role will be responsible for leading ongoing delivery and product partnership evolution/formation in partnership with the NA Health and Global Health leadership teams.


In addition, this role will be responsible for building an integrated team with responsibility across Innovation, Solution Development and our Specialty practices. The role includes leadership of Aon’s 6 Specialties: Pharmacy, Health Transformation, Time Away and Life Solutions, Delivery System Transformation, Legal/Compliance and Audit.


Team Leadership


  • Lead and cultivate and culture of teamwork and diversity.
  • Drive best practices by championing consistent processes, tools and techniques for profitable delivery, continual improvement in quality standards to meet overall business goals.
  • Lead and manage a team of 170+ colleagues.
  • Drive profitability, efficiency, and growth throughout the Innovation and Integration Solutions team to best align resources and connections throughout the Health solution line.


Innovation and Solution Development


  • Own and drive specialty prioritization process for development of expertise and solutions within and across each specialty practice.
  • Oversee and drive external partnerships.
  • Identify and prioritize growth accelerants to develop concepts that meet market need. And then connect and integrate our core Health, actuarial, analytics and specialty perspective and capabilities around these accelerants.
  • Lead the Innovation and Integrated Solutions team in creating thought leadership, advisory expertise and unique solutions to meet client and market needs and drive growth.
  • Support segment and industry specific thought leadership and solution development to meet the needs of our clients.
  • Expand Health POV to influence Delivering Aon United (DAU) areas of focus (i.e., Climate, ESG).


Go to Market


  • Drive a go-to market approach through Aon’s various distribution channels, including fostering connection and education in the core consulting practice.
  • Assure clear Aon service sets and value propositions for new and existing advisory capabilities and solutions and collaborate with Regional and Sales Leadership to go-to-market.


External Market Visibility


  • External visibility for Aon as a thought leader at key client engagements and market events.
  • Drive client engagement through PR and other marketing channels, in partnership with marketing. Share the story of our offering and how it will make valuable contributions to clients.


Skills And Experience That Will Lead To Success


  • Exceptional communication skills to convey compelling messages across all levels and geographies.
  • Ability to travel (from 50%)
  • Demonstrated thought leadership and eye for innovation across Health.
  • Ability to work in matrixed environment and lead through influence.
  • Proven track record in developing and carrying out client and sales growth
  • Experience leading a multi-market, dispersed workforce
  • Ability to lead critical thinking around innovation and ideation with a strong commercial lens.
  • Experience creating scalable solutions and forging partnerships with third parties to deliver new solutions and sources of revenue
  • Fifteen plus years of dynamic experience with Health and Benefits products, services and solutions.
  • Proven business leader adept at connecting innovation with commercialization and efficiently running a shadow P&L


Education


  • Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent work experience required. Advanced degree desired but not required

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $300,000 to $380,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location.


This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon’s annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus or production incentives in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus or production incentives varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
