Information Technology Solutions Architect

We are seeking an experienced ITSM Developer / ServiceNow Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 8 to 15 years of experience in designing, developing, and implementing IT service management solutions using the ServiceNow platform.

Experience

• The CMDB Architect is responsible for establishing the overall strategic design and maintaining Service and Configuration Management (CM) architecture.
• The right candidate will have a full understanding of ServiceNow and ITIL best practices and serve as an expert on the capabilities of the ServiceNow platform as they pertain to CM.
• Interacts with key technical resources and stakeholders to understand the technology employed, the business complexity as related to the IT requirements and validates the proposed technical architecture and solution.
• Ensures a well-planned set of technical solutions to support service management processes.
• The role will perform feasibility analysis on and engage in potential future ServiceNow projects in relation to CM.

What You Will Do:

• Work with process owners to define and understand process requirements related to the capture of configuration data, gap analysis, and develop technical specifications and solutions
• Design and implement ServiceNow ITSM/ITOM Discovery and CMDB solutions that meet business requirements and adhere to industry best practices
• Ensure solution design and process consistency and continuity across the CMDB and the processes that depend on the CMDB
• Develop and maintain Ally Financials’ configuration models for services, assets, applications, and infrastructure to enable key processes such as impact and cause of incident and problems, change planning, design, change risk and impact assessment, planning tech refreshes, software upgrades, optimize asset utilization by understanding which CI\'s make up a service
• Evaluate enhancement/customization requests, provide design recommendations, and document technical requirements
• Ability to architect solutions to accommodate complex business needs and design architecture to align technologies from Ally’s Services and infrastructure within the CSDM framework
