Information Technology Software Developer

This position serves as a software developer in writing and designing software using popular coding languages including Python, Java, C++, and other JavaScript frameworks s such as ReactJS, Angular, or Node.js to interact with backed databases, as well as DevOps tools to build, test, update, debug, and refine their creations. Will utilize Cloud Computing Tools such as AWS and Microsoft Azure.

Associate’s degree in computer science, software functionality/development, and Data Management systems plus two years experience working in computer science, software functionality, and code development; equivalent education/experience considered. Knowledge of email, word processing, spreadsheets, databases analysis, presentation software, and database query software. Ability to gather and analyze facts, draw conclusions, define problems, and define solutions. Ability to communicate orally and in writing with team members and supervising staff. Knowledge of system development methods and case management systems.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer science, software functionality/development and Data Management systems or equivalent experience. At least two years’ experience working in the Nebraska State Judicial Branch. Knowledge of Nebraska State Judicial Branch policies, procedures, protocols and guidelines. Ability to learn computer and other information technology applications utilized by the Branch.
