Job Description

Responsibilities

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Promotes adherence to standardized IT processes, strategic principles, and architectural standards.
  • Be able to perform shipping and receiving of user products to and from remote locations.
  • Installing /uninstalling software / drivers as needed.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365
  • Manage users in Hosted VoIP phone system.
  • Actively shares knowledge with other IT members and improves the tools and processes used by department personnel.
  • A solid understanding of LAN design, network protocols, DNS configuration, IP addressing, and remote connectivity.
  • Maintains detailed asset records for all PC hardware and software. Assists with asset protection and software licensing compliance.
  • Comprehensive knowledge and expertise in MS Office products & Adobe.
  • Configures and images PC systems and provides responsive delivery to customers.
  • Logs comments for all service requests, incidents and change orders performed in help desk ticket system.
  • Follow specific written work instructions to provision, configure IT devices and otherwise prepare the device for deployment, disposition, or repair processing based on user requirements.
  • Unbox, re-box and process equipment for shipping.
  • Administers computers and users using Active Directory and or Group Policies.
  • May be required to assist in moves, adds, and makes changes for equipment and software deployment at various locations.
  • Provide desktop support to end-users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues
  • Be able to work within the user provided ticketing system, provide timely and detailed updates and monitor queues as required.
  • Manage users using Door access systems.

  • Windows: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Help desk: 1 year (Preferred)
