Job Description

Job Title: Information Security Specialist

Primary Location: Rosemont, IL

Position Type: Direct Hire

Overview:

TalentFish is casting a line for an Information Security Specialist. This is a direct hire role in Rosemont, IL. This is a cross-functional role, supporting Information Security, Corporate Security, Identity & Access Management and Fraud (ISCSF). The Information Security Specialist reports to the Sr Information Security Manager and works with other management and executives to provide operational support for the coordination and execution of ISCSF projects and programs. The position assists in the performance of various programs, metrics development, communication initiatives, and security projects. This position requires the ability to effectively collaborate within his/her department and across broad parts of the enterprise.


WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

  • 5+ years of related experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

  • Knowledgeable and experienced in performing within a business team
  • Proven track record of meeting commitments with the highest standards of ethics and integrity
  • Familiarity or exposure to project management basics with a sensitivity towards organization, structure and documentation
  • Experienced in working on multiple programs or projects with conflicting timelines
  • Exhibit a strong ability to handle multiple demands with a sense of urgency, drive and energy
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing needs and demands dictated by business and requirements
  • Ability to "think through” a problem and be "solution driven”
  • Exposure to IT best practices
  • Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be self-directed, have excellent initiative and organizational skills
  • General knowledge (or better) of Information Security and Information Security concepts and practices


WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Responsible for collaborating with the Information Security leaders and all lines-of-business leaders to manage and monitor programs and document metrics and performance.
  • Responsible for assisting with the development and deployment ISCSF Programs so that the Programs' policies, procedures, and objectives are met.
  • Responsible for the performance of organization of assigned business tasks.
  • Responsible for the creation, maintenance and deployment of ISCSF related information, policies, standards and training.
  • Responsible for initiating, documenting and completing ISCSF Projects.
