Inbound Inventory Assistant Jobs

Catbird, a Brooklyn based luxury jewelry brand, is looking for an entry-level Inbound Inventory Assistant to join the warehouse team. The ideal candidate will coordinate the distribution of inbound shipments, process all returns and perform some inventory control tasks to assist in inventory accuracy.

This position is located at our Brooklyn Navy Yard HQ.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean, package and put away merchandise into Inventory
• Restock and organize all inventory locations daily
• Ad hoc general warehouse support
• Complete refund transactions of returned orders through different portals
• Process and upload return forms/documents
• Coordinate stock transfers and facilitate merchandise going to our retail stores
• Work with the rest of the team to ensure inventory accuracy
• Communicate problems in a clear, concise way to other departments via slack/email
• Ensure damaged goods are flagged and removed from Inventory
• Scan in, distribute and notify staff members of delivered mail/packages
• Perform daily cycle counts

Our Ideal Candidate

• A love of jewelry and experience in either making jewelry or working for a jewelry company is a plus!
• Computer savvy
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Works with a sense of urgency and responsibilityMaintains regular attendance and timeliness
• Proficient in Google Suite
• Able to work in collaborative team based environment
• Detail oriented and organized

Compensation: $19/hr
