Job Description

We are seeking a creative leader to help develop an innovative beverage program for an exciting new indoor golf concept with a full commercial kitchen and an awesome bar. Our facility will offer a unique experience for golf enthusiasts and casual players alike with state-of-the-art TrackMan golf simulators, a full bar with a custom tap-tower with 40 taps (24 beers & 16 direct draw wines, cocktails or cold-brews), and a delicious food menu. As Bar Manager, you will oversee every aspect of bar operations and work with our Executive Chef to lead our team of service professionals to ensure a welcoming and memorable experience for our guests.


Responsibilities
  • Recruit, train and lead bartenders and barbacks to ensure high-quality service and adherence to all applicable laws, regulations and health code.
  • Create and maintain an engaging and welcoming environment for our guests.
  • Develop and execute a creative, on-trend menu that aligns with our concept and food offerings.
  • Maintain a clean and organized bar space that exceeds all health and safety standards.
  • Manage the daily operations of the bar, including menu development, beverage P&L responsibility, inventory management, ordering, scheduling, and staff training.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure food and beverage offerings complement each other as well as work with our Executive Chef to ensure operational excellence in every aspect of our food & beverage program.


Qualifications
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to hire, motivate and lead a team of beverage service professionals.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to handle a fast-paced environment efficiently.
  • Proficient in inventory management and cost control practices.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a management role in a high-volume bar or restaurant.
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Knowledge of food and beverage regulations, health and safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience with golf or sports-related establishments is a definite plus.
  • Knowledge of craft cocktails, beer, wine, and experience developing creative beverage programs.
