Your Day-day Will Include
  • Survey planning and budgeting.
  • Teaching, training, managing, and developing staff.
  • Data acquisition using multibeam, single beam, side scan, mobile laser scanning, and sub-bottom.
  • Client communications and project reporting.
  • Support data processing, analysis, reporting, and proposal writing.
What You Need
  • Ability to work in a team environment, self-manage, resourceful and manage others.
  • A commitment to seeing projects through to completion, a high attention to detail and an enthusiastic attitude.
  • NSPS Hydrographer certification is preferred but not required.
  • Experience with data acquisition systems including: multibeam, single beam, side scan, inertial navigation, sub-bottom profilers.
  • Experience with industry standard software packages including: Hypack, Caris, QPS, POS Pac, ArcGIS, etc.
  • Ability to perform field work including travel and weekends, and the physical ability to lift objects over 50lbs.
  • Minimum of 10 years of professional hydrographic experience.
  • A valid driver’s license with a clean MVR, cleared background check and a negative drug test result.
